I am not on your side. I just want to put this out there first and foremost. Now, I will explain to you eggheads why this is a very good thing. What, you were expecting Alex Jones or CNN to tell you what you wanted to hear? Well, the time for that is over. A pandemic ended it.

Let me start with something I helped create, social media. Oh, you didn’t know I was a first adopter of every social media platform in the world? Well, I was, and so were dozens of my contemporaries whose mission was to figure out how to manipulate the masses. WOAH! You didn’t know that is what Facebook was created for? I am sorry to dash your hopes of individual power and freedom of expression. You should know, there is no longer any such thing in this world. Now, I guess you need me to explain. Okay.
The bottom line is, you are pitifully easy to manipulate. I know this sounds a bit mean, but it’s the core of truth you need to understand in order to truly free yourself from — yes, tyranny – I said it. Think about Alex Jones, since I mentioned the big mouth sellout already. How does a moron like that ever get to be so influential? Why the same was the current president did, he tells a whole lot of people exactly what they want to hear. And this resonates (that means to amplify a sympathetic vibration) for individuals, who further amplify the (right wine let’s say) vibration to a larger segment of (Trumpsers or Bidenites) society.
“When you want to help people, you tell them the truth. When you want to help yourself, you tell them what they want to hear.” – Thomas Sowell, economist – social theorist
Aha! You don’t believe you are so easily herded? I understand. But here’s the thing, I can prove how easily you can be swayed, prodded, and used to do whatever it is I want you to do. Let’s take my book Putin’s Praetorians, as a case study. It may shock some of you to know that the Amazon Bestseller was in part a Machiavellian scheme to bolster the “truth” that Vladimir Putin is not the archvillain western elites want you to think he is. Before I wrote the book, I devised a way to garner instantaneous support for book sales.
By publishing the exact ideas and words of many of the most passionate pro-Russia evangelists in social media, I knew that their following would become the book’s following. And therefore, in one publication I could cement the truth that Russia’s leader was not the orchestrator of some cyberwar against western leaders. Zealots waged a kind of war in social media, not the Kremlin, and least of all Vladimir Putin. Basically, my book told alt-media and the populist right what it wanted to hear. And it worked, I sold thousands of copies.
“The receptivity of the masses is very limited, their intelligence is small, but their power of forgetting is enormous. In consequence of these facts, all effective propaganda must be limited to a very few points and must harp on these in slogans until the last member of the public understands what you want him to understand by your slogan.”

Sadly, my plan backfired a bit. You see, I was naive to believe that these zealots, and their following, were truly into the west-east Cold War 2 bit for ideology. The reason I wrote Putin’s Praetorians and a thousand reports and articles on Russia and Putin, was because I thought people really wanted the truth. I thought the world really wanted peace, harmony, and for Russia and the United States to join hands to renew the promise of humanity! Yes, there are those of us who believe such things. Sadly, no such movement or widespread groundswell of Utopia exists. Most of the people who scream and holler about truth and freedom and peace on Earth, they would kill 20,000 dolphins for a tuna fish sandwich. If you don’t believe me, just tell them Starkist has been sanctioned by Trump, the Albacore tuna sandwich lovers at the 19th hole at Charleston’s Dunes golf course will switch parties. Right after slugging a beer and bitching “Who does that motherfucker think he is”, while they cheat on their scorecard”. Yeah, we are that bad.

This morning some numbscull who had “friended” me on Facebook just to get closer to one of “Putin’s Praetorians” jumped ship and accused me of being “silly” because I linked Trump with a Jewish billionaire gambling boss, who is in turn linked to the “mob”. In social media, let me remind you, nobody reads the story behind the link, Facebook geniuses just snatch the headline and the intent, and then love or lambast the author of a post accordingly. The sad thing is, most people do not even realize they do it. The pea brains that America and other nations churned out of kindergartens twenty years ago, they know dopamine, they know lazy, and they know what they want. The liberals want “Obama good” and the conservatives want “Obama bad” – or good and bad on any subject. This way, they can scroll down Facebook and quickly say their public piece! They are powerful, their voice is heard, even if everything they voice is an out and out lie. Trust me, I could write another bestseller about wishy-washy friends of convenience on Facebook.

When I published Putin’s Praetorians I gained about 900 extra Facebook followers. Before that, as a publisher of Russia Insider and an expert at RTTV, Sputnik Radio and news, Russia One, and other Russian media, I’d gained around 1,000 “friends” who just loved my headlines. A few, maybe 5 percent, actually read my analysis. These 50 people are the core that really does wish for world peace. But the rest? The world of liberals, conservatives, socialists, and Nazis out there? Well, Alex Jones and all the other far-right pissed off acting snake oil salesmen have a chokehold on them. That throng of self-interested, puffed up, lazy, and liquored up “zealots” are just doping themselves up with what they want, what they need, and what the media jockeys want to give them. Social media is powered by sad, pissed off, stupid people who don’t even want to know which direction “up” is. And many, as some of you probably already know, are mean as hell.

You can test for yourself, but you do not really need to. Everyone has tied once or twice to go against convention to speak the truth, only to be shunned by those who want the lie. If you are a liberal convinced that a suckup like Joe Biden is “the way”, just try being the Devil’s advocate one day on
Facebook. Pretend Trump has even one redeeming quality in public, and your following will crucify you before 24 hours has elapsed. For Trumpsters, just share a post about how brilliant Marx was, or disagree with any of Trump’s lies, and you’ll feel as if the locusts of hell have descended on you. Next, just imagine that both Trump and Biden have been involved with the mafia. Now try and squeeze that reality into an Instagram share. What, you are under the impression that the filthy rich elites are leaving things up to chance? Let me enlighten you using a conversation I had with one of the most influential policy PR people in the world some years back. A friend, who shall remain nameless here, responded this way when I asked; “How come the world does not more about the dealings of people like Jacob Rothschild?
“Phil, such powerful people have armies of employees at their disposal ensuring that you and I know nothing of their real endeavors.”
Knowing this, is it hard for you to understand that everything you hear, read, and see on any kind of media is manipulated? Do you assume that even altruists like me don’t have some kind of agenda? Trust me, if I had the power of these people, you’d be a soldier in the army of world peace by now. But, these actors do not want peace in the world, they need the chaos.
I can control the way you act, because of the way you think. I can make you my friend, simply by agreeing with you and your ideas. With a little bit of physics, time and pressure, I could sell you clear water as the ambrosia of Avalon. But, if I want to get you to think or to pursue the truth? You’ve been made a god. You are the Einstein of the 21st century. Marketers and PR men like me made you invincible – superheroes of social media – legends in your own minds. The most learned scientists, the MENSA geniuses, NASA astronauts and virtuoso artists are no longer your guiding heroes, you control the horizontal and the vertical in a Facebook share or in a snide comment that twerks your opinion bubble. Now click on the Facebook game and go back to your tiny-big world where our masters buy and sell the future.
Just remember. All I have to do is agree with you, apply some pressure, and a little time (or a Facebook ad), and you are mine. Just pray that I stay naive trying to figure out the real truth.
And NO! The coronavirus is not fake, people are really dying.
